Vicky Fitiao

Vicky started working with Awanui in 2006 as a part time technician in the food microbiology laboratory. In 2007 she accepted a full time position, and in 2009 she became an MPI-LAS signatory.
During her time here at Awanui, Vicky has gained extensive experience in both Analytical and Diagnostic Microbiology and more recently molecular technology. Outside of work Vicky is an avid Highlanders and All Black fan and she also enjoys supporting her two son’s sporting activities, which means in Winter you will find her around the” rugby traps” and in Summer she spends Saturday afternoons watching Cricket.
